TERMS, CONDITIONS & POLICIES

These terms outline how Jelly Beanz Carbon Accounting provides carbon accounting and related services. By working with us, you accept these terms.

1. Scope of Services

  • We provide carbon accounting and environmental reporting services.

  • This may include measurements, footprint reports, data analysis and guidance.

  • We do not provide tax services, BAS services or any form of audit.

  • Our work is limited to the scope we agree on with you.

2. Our Responsibilities

  • We follow the APES 110 Code of Ethics.

  • We only access the information needed for your work.

  • We advise you if we notice issues in your data or systems.

  • We may have reporting obligations under the NOCLAR standards.

3. Your Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate and timely information.

  • We are not responsible for delays or errors caused by missing or incorrect data.

  • You remain responsible for your internal systems and decisions.

4. Engagement Outputs

  • Reports and documents we create are for you and for the agreed purpose only.

  • Do not share or use them for other purposes without written approval.

5. Fees and Payment

  • Fees are charged at the rate agreed with you in writing.

  • Invoices are due within 14 days.

  • Unpaid fees may be referred to debt recovery.

6. Ownership of Documents

  • You own the final documents we prepare.

  • Working papers and internal documents remain our property.

  • Copies can be provided when needed.

7. Privacy and Data Handling

  • We follow the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles.

  • We collect only the information needed to deliver our services.

  • Your information may be shared confidentially with third parties if required to complete your work.

  • We may use secure cloud systems for storage.

  • You may request access to or correction of your personal information.

8. Data Security

  • We use secure systems and follow strict data protection practices.

  • We are certified under the Accounting Data Security Standard.

9. Outsourcing and Third Parties

  • We may use trusted third parties or cloud tools to support our work.

  • You agree these parties hold no liability to you.

10. Professional Standards Scheme

  • Jelly Beanz operates under the IPA Professional Standards Scheme, which limits our liability as permitted by law.

11. Consumer Data Right (If Applicable)

If you nominate us as a Trusted Adviser, we only access the CDR data needed for your services.

12. Quality Review

Your file may be included in a professional quality review if required by the IPA.

13. Complaints and Enquiries

If you have questions or concerns about our services or policies, please contact us and we will help.

14. Changes to These Terms

  • We may update these terms when needed.

  • Any changes will be communicated in writing.
